An Act to amend the Commissions for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005.
BE it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
1. Short title.
This Act may be called the Commissions for Protection of Child Rights (Amendment) Act, 2006.
2. Amendment of section 4 of Act 4 of 2006.
In the Commissions for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005, in the proviso to section 4, for the words ##Minister in-charge of the Ministry of Human Resource Development##, the words ##Minister in-charge of the Ministry or the Department of Women and Child Development## shall be substituted.
