THE COLONIAL PRISONERS REMOVAL (REPEAL) ACT, 2001.
ACT NO. 12 OF 2001.
[9th May, 2001.]
An Act to repeal the Colonial Prisoners Removal Act, 1884.
BE it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-second Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
1.Short title.
This Act may be called the Colonial Prisoners Removal (Repeal) Act, 2001.
2.Repeal of Acts 47 and 48 Vict., C. 31.
The Colonial Prisoners Removal Act, 1884 is hereby repealed.
