Dear learned friends,
This forum boasts a large number of learned professional members who have been contributing their valuable time, both in the form of queries and responses.
Keeping in mind the need to make the forum more useful, I, botn in the capacity as a fellow member and a moderator, am taking the liberty of placing, before all the learned members, a few suggestions, for their kind consideration.
The members will agree that the queries and responses to the queries, on quite a few ocasions, are seen to be repetitive in the forum. It will be useful, to ponder over, to what extent this repetitions can be avoided, in order the subjects discussed do not become stale or monotonus in the forum. The forum will also not present itself complex in comprehendsion by its users.
As regards the queries, as the forum is a storehouse of discussions on a large number of subjects, it is always possible that answer already exists to a query that is proposed to be raised. It would be useful to check the forum for the existence of that query before the sme is raised again. Of course, I do not know if the forum has a search facility based on the key words. If it does not, then I appeal to feele to look into this aspect.
Secondly, coming to the responses, if a particular point is answered, and the response is found to be wanting in details or found to be incorrect, the members may add further points or further queries as the case may be, in order that the correct conclusion is reached. Let us try, as far as possible, through discussions, to see that the query reaches its logical conclusion. At the same time, however, let us avoid giving the same multiple responses to the same point raised in the topic, if an earlier response is in itself is complete in all respects. This will enable the queriest the trouble of going through the same answer multiple times.
Trust my view is appreciated.
Thank you and kind regards,
